The Ecostar automatic garage door opener from the market leader, Hormann is suitable for almost any retractable Up & Over or sectional garage doors up to 5000mm wide (16 ft 4). The Hormann Ecostar is not recommended for use with canopy doors.

The reliable Hormann Ecostar is probably the easiest operator to fit, it can be assembled in less than 10 minutes! And dont worry if you are not technically minded - after installation, just operate the opener a couple of times and it will automatically learn the travel limits and sensitivity of your garage door, easy!

The Ecostar is suitable for single residential garage doors with a maximum 10m2 door surface. These can be either Retractable Up & Over Garage Doors up to 2625mm high or Sectional Doors up to 2375mm high (2250mm high with Low Tracks. We do not recommened the automation of canopy up and over garage doors.

As with any other automatic opener IT IS NOT DESIGNED TO OPERATE A GARAGE DOOR THAT DOESN'T LIFT EASILY BY HAND!! You will need to service or repair your garage door first
